Now offering the EF Block^TM Enviro-Series!

The rough concrete exterior of EF Block^TM provides an excellent chemical and mechanical bond for stucco products to be applied directly to the block without the extra burden of mesh applications.  However, for those commercial projects which desire synthetic stucco and EIFS applications, we offer the new Enviro-Series block.  Our Enviro-Series block provides the foam insulation board to which EIFS products are applied. 

What is EIFS?

EIFS stands for Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems.  The product is also called synthetic stucco, and refers to a multi-layered exterior finish.

There are three layers to EIFS that bond to form a covering that doesn't breathe

* Inner Layer -- Foam insulation board that's secured to the exterior wall surface, often with adhesive.

* Middle Layer -- A polymer and cement base coat that's applied to the top of the insulation, then reinforced with glass fiber mesh.

* Exterior Layer -- A textured finish coat.

The EF Block^TM Enviro-Series is also ideal for those customers who desire

                                                                                    the aesthetics of thicker-wall construction!

The EF Block^TM Enviro-Series is available in 12-inch and 14-inch thicknesses.
